As promised earlier, Samsung announced a pair of new Galaxy M-series phones in India - a redesigned Galaxy M13 4G and a brand new Galaxy M13 5G.
Not to be confused with the Galaxy M13 4G that was launched in May, the new Galaxy M13 4G packs a redesigned rear camera design and a massive 6,000mAh battery.
The rest of the specs are taken from the international Galaxy M13 4G - a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD, Exynos 850 chipset, 50MP main camera, 5MP ultrawide snapper and 2MP depth helper.
The Galaxy M13 5G sports a 6.5-inch LCD with 90Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch for the 8MP selfie cam.
The back houses a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth module. The phone is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 700 chipset and can have 4/6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage which can be expanded via microSD.
The battery department is headlined by a 5,000mAh cell with 15W charging capabilities. Both the new phones boot Android 12 with Samsung's One UI Core 4 on top.
The new Galaxy M13 models will be available in Midnight Blue, Stardust Brown and Aqua Green colours.
The Galaxy M13 4G starts at INR 11,999 ($150) for the 4/64GB trim while the M13 5G will go for INR 13,999 ($175) for the 4/64GB trim.
ICICI Bank card holders get a flat discount of Rs 1,000. The open sale in India will start from July 23 through Samsung.com, Amazon India and offline retailers.
