Ultraman Announces New Marvel Comics Crossover

Tsuburaya Productions announced a few years ago that they were looking to expand their various tokusatsu properties with new projects with the intention of helping spread recognition for their projects around the world.

That first announcement has since seen Ultraman in new comics, an anime series, a reboot feature film with Shin Ultraman, and now it's ready for a new crossover with some of Marvel's best.

Taking the stage during Anime Expo this year, Tsuburaya Productions and Marvel Comics officially announced that some of Marvel's biggest heroes like Spider-Man.

Iron Man, and Captain Marvel (along with some of their most notable villains) will enter the kaiju-filled universe of Ultraman and Ultra Seven in a new comic book miniseries.

This will be the first crossover between the two since the Ultraman-branded comics release with Marvel sometime back.

And will actually be within the continuity of those comics according to the official announcement.

It will be the fourth major title to emerge from the current partnership of Tsuburaya Productions and Marvel Comics.

Teasing that series co-writers Kyle Higgins and Matt Groom will be part of the new project

There are currently very few details about what to expect from the new crossover story.
